Can I rent a boat if I'm not staying at Woodland?

Yes. Boats and pontoons rent to anyone with a valid driver's license. Call (701) 662-5996 to reserve.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are welcome but must be on a leash unless on the beach. The fee is $20 a day or $100 a week for pets inside rooms. Pets aren't allowed on rental boats.

Is the boat ramp free?

Yes. The two-lane concrete ramp is free for guests; the public pays an access fee. Day and overnight dock slips are $20 a night, first come, first served.

Can I get fuel on site?

Yes. The fuel pump has land and lake access, with premium fuel that is ethanol-free in the summer months.

Do I need a fishing license?

Yes, every angler needs a North Dakota fishing license. Buy one online from North Dakota Game and Fish (gf.nd.gov). If you couldn't buy one ahead of time, the bait shop staff can help.

Where can I clean and freeze my fish?

The heated four-season fish cleaning station has stainless steel counters, several sinks, a hose, a pressure washer, freezers and a waste dump station. It is open to guests all year.
