All questions and policiesHow many anglers per SnoBear?
Two to three anglers per SnoBear, with a 2-person minimum. You pay for the seats you reserve, even if fewer people show up. Larger groups can call to arrange more machines.
What deposit is required?
50% at booking. The balance is due the morning of your first fishing day, and a card is kept on file.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel 30 or more days ahead for a full deposit refund. Inside 30 days the deposit isn't refunded, but it can move to another open date this season.
What happens in bad weather?
Trips run in most conditions. They are canceled only for unsafe ice, a blizzard or a travel ban, and then you choose a new date or a refund.

If the ice isn't safe for a SnoBear, you fish from a wheelhouse or a portable shelter instead, and we'll let you know before you head out.

Room rates cover 2 guests, or 4 in two- and three-bedroom cabins and suites. Extra guests are $35 a night each, with no upgrade fees.
Are meals included?

Is gratuity included?
No. Gratuity isn't included on guided trips; 15 to 20 percent is customary.
Do I need a fishing license?
Yes, every angler needs a North Dakota fishing license. Buy one online from North Dakota Game and Fish (gf.nd.gov). If you couldn't buy one ahead of time, the bait shop staff can help.
